XF Assay Tutorial: A rapid, real-time assay to detect and monitor
T-cell activation using the Agilent Seahorse XFp Analyzer

Recent successes in targeting the immune system have generated a resurgence of effort to harness the immune system more routinely for translational research and therapeutic intervention. A key factor for successful targeting of the immune system is controlling both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of immune cell activation. However, current approaches for detecting and monitoring T-cell activation are almost exclusively single time point measurements performed hours to days after the initial stimulation.

In this webinar we will discuss:
This tutorial describes a novel assay that measures immune cell activation from within minutes of activation throughout the fully developed activated phenotype in both a qualitative and quantitative manner. This provides a sensitive window of opportunity to identify and characterize attributes that can drive immune responses to desired outcomes.

What you will learn:

  • The benefits of measuring T-cell activation using the XF T-cell activation assay.
  • How this rapid, simple assay enables researchers to understand and direct immune responses.
  • The connection between energy metabolism and T-cell activation.
